Cabinet Maker/Shop Manager

Job Summary:

Ferguson Fine Homes is seeking a Cabinet Maker/Shop Manager to join our team in Mono, ON. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.


Our shop operates on a 44 hour per week production schedule.
Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 PM including paid lunch.


Hourly wage 25$-$30

Job requirements for Team Lead:


  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate material required to complete projects
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing and delegating work to your team
  • Ensure employees comply with health and safety policies, including wearing of appropriate PPE
  • Knowledge regarding a variety of standard materials including solid wood, MDF, particle board, laminate,
  • Managing quality standards, ensuring projects are completed on time, aligned with the budget

Requirements of Team Members:


  • Experience in cabinet assembly and woodworking techniques
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in cabinet making
  • Knowledge of various cabinet materials and hardware
  • Work with a range of materials including plywood, MDF, laminate, solid wood, and plexi
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and processes
  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
  • Physical ability to lift and move cabinets and materials
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Salary:
$25.00-$35.00 per hour
