Key Responsibilities:


Working closely and collaboratively with Project Managers and Estimating team, actively oversee and manage the successful execution of projects as assigned.

Develop, maintain, and implement procedures to accurately track and control costs associated with projects.
Assist in preparing quotations as required.
Develop and manage budgets, schedules etc.
Work closely/regular communication with Field Operations, Estimators and Administration.

Adapt to changing project and customer circumstances by developing workable and cost-effective contingency plans that respect overall project guidelines and contribute to planned outcomes.

Participate in the resolution of project disputes (internal, supplier or client related).
Overseeing/preparing various documentation.
Resolve various discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Provide consultation on project planning (schedules, labour needs, time requirements, etc.).
Evaluate projects and contracts to ensure work execution is cost effective and/or profitable.
Participate in team/staff meetings when required.
Develop and strengthen relationships with customers and business (sub) contractors.
Troubleshooting, problem solving, and effective communication are key success factors in sustaining relationships within the project work environment.
Support the vision and values of the organization.
Work in a manner that preserves confidentiality and minimizes risks.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

Post-secondary diploma or degree.
Proven work experience within a similar position an asset.
Outstanding communication abilities.
Extreme attention to detail and thoroughness in his/her work.

Ability to liaise with various departmental team members in order to investigate details and gather key pieces of information related to project work.

Progressive experience in the environmental or waste management industry is considered an asset
Demonstrated efficiency and time management abilities with respect to his/her work.
