  • This role is a permanent parttime position, primarily based in Mississauga (onsite)._

Schedule & Hours of work:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 1:00PM; total of 25 hours per week.
The schedule will be reevaluated after 1-year for possible transition to Full Time. Must be flexible to work full-time hours when required depending on the work load.

This position reports to Human Resources Manager. _


Responsibilities:


  • Answer and direct phone calls, relay messages to appropriate parties
  • Receive visitors and direct them to appropriate parties
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Arrange and setup catering for meetings with clients
  • Develop and maintain a filing system and contact lists
  • Order and maintain office supplies and research and negotiate pricing with suppliers
  • Assist with travel arrangements
  • Daily processing of invoices, matching with packing slips, retrieving signatures, and submitting to Purchasing and Accounting
  • Liaise with Office Administrator to handle requests and queries from the Senior Management team
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Perform additional Receptionist duties

Requirements:


  • Experience as a Receptionist required (2 years+)

Additional qualifications would be an asset

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, such as phone systems, computers, photocopiers, printers and fax machines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and multitask
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High School diploma
