The Club has an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator.
The Human Resources Coordinator supports Club management and staff regarding all aspects of human resources, in an administrative, advisory and service-oriented role.
This is a great opportunity for an aspiring generalist to get broad exposure to a wide range of HR activities through both day-to-day functions and project-based work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordination and implementation of training programs including new employee onboarding, health and safety, diversity and inclusion, respectful workplace and other learning initiatives.
- Administers the pension and benefits plans for eligible employees, including enrollments and orientation
- Participates and supports various human resourcesrelated projects include the development of new programs, diversity initiatives, and systems and process improvements to generate efficiencies
- Assists the Director of Human resources with the implementing and updating of policies & procedures, and communicating Club values
- Participates in collective bargaining preparation and the grievance resolution process
- Assists with the coordination of staff appreciation & recognition initiatives and regular communication meetings
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
years of relevant Human Resources experience required, ideally with a focus on talent acquisition processes. Hospitality experience is an asset
- CHRP certification in progress is preferred
- Completion of a degree or diploma with a focus on Human Resources Management or Industrial/Labour Relations is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Human Resources legislation
- Working experience with Ceridian Dayforce or comparable HRIS
- High attention to detail; with strong organizational skills; able to complete several tasks simultaneously and to set priorities
- Ability to work to deadlines and adapt to changing conditions; Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others
