Your Opportunity at ARC'TERYX:


  • As the Business Analyst Lead, Omni-Channel, you will lead a team of Omni-Channel E-Commerce Business Analysts who act as the conduit between Information Systems (IS) and multiple business teams. You will coach and mentor the team in the best methods to elicit and analyze requirements; liaising between business and technical resources, and documenting business processes or systems and their integration. You must be able to quickly absorb new and different types of information, modify and adapt existing knowledge, and work in a changing and evolving environment, to ensure successful project delivery using an agile scrum methodology. You are a critical thinker who enjoys diving into the details and seeking to understand the "how" and "why".

If you were the Business Analyst Lead, Omni-Channel now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing, the Business Analysts to ensure high performance within their agile squads and delivery of the following:
- o gathering requirements using effective business analysis techniques- o translating business requirements into detailed and actionable specifications- o creating understandable visual representations to communicate complex concepts and models for various target audiences- o documenting detailed user stories, process flows, system flows, and acceptance criteria that will be used for business process review, systems architecture, and quality assurance- o identifying and documenting business process changes and improvements- o facilitating and managing stakeholder engagement- o maintaining process and system documentation as business and systems evolve
  • Managing the Business Analyst budget and the resources required to complete omnichannel ecommerce projects.

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Developing, updating, and embedding your extensive e-commerce expertise within the Business Analysts chapter and the agile squads
  • Improving the expertise and the way of working (the "how") applied by the Business Analysts assigned to each agile project squad
  • Defining the project scope, activities, and resource need for new ecommerce initiatives before handing over the project work to the agile squads
  • Preparing and coordinating system changes for release, organize and lead product demo sessions, coordinate user training, arrange special hardware requirements with IS Infrastructure Manager
  • Supporting the Product Manager in achieving the agile squads' strategic goals

Are you our next Business Analyst Lead, Omni-Channel?:

  • You have a bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in business, information systems or a relevant field, completion of a recognized Business Analysis program, and/or equivalent business experience
  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, working on agile projects related to omnichannel projects, and business process areas such as retail, commercial operations, omnichannel, etc.
  • You have a 2+ years' experience leading others
  • You have demonstrated success working in an agile methodology
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of stakeholders
  • You have an exceptional ability to collaborate and contribute as a team player, and the ability to build strong, positive relationships within your team, and cross functionally.
  • You have excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to explain, articulate, and document concepts, business processes, systems and business requirements efficiently
  • You have strong organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple, competing priorities
  • You have excellent time management skills with the ability to plan ahead and meet deadlines
  • You are familiar with webdevelopment
  • You possess a high level of analytical and critical thinking
  • You are a strong troubleshooting skills
  • You have experience coaching and mentoring in an agile development environment
  • You have experience as a Product Owner, and using JIRA
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
