ABOUT THE ROLE:


Are you passionate about crafting compelling content and fostering effective organizational communication? Do you have a knack for writing and thrive in collaborative environments? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Sephora as a Digital Communications Specialist/Copywriter in our Internal Communications & Events Team.


In this role, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and informative content for Sephora's intranet site and employee communications, including social media content on our employer branding channels.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:


  • Responsible for daytoday operation and newsroom management of Sephora's intranet

This includes:

  • Principal copywriter for weekly newsroom stories.
  • Collaborate closely with internal partners to develop content in line with our annual editorial calendar.
  • Maintaining the visual design, site navigation and site content to drive engagement with the site.
  • Oversee the primary landing pages to maintain a proper balance of content and tools.
  • Support intranet page owners (community managers for team pages) in maintaining active communities that encourage visitation.
  • Monitor site analytics and report on key performance metrics.
  • Based on analytics, make recommendations or adapt content calendar to meet the needs of employees and business.
  • Oversee ongoing page management while reinforcing the intranet governance structure.
  • Function as an occasional digital designer and editor of videos and social media content, producing, managing, and posting content across various social and digital platforms.
  • Carry out research for projects and potential initiatives and analyses the research results.
  • Lead projects to improve intranet sections or deliver new tools through the intranet.
  • Helps generate video content for storytelling purposes on our intranet or other employeefacing digital platforms.
  • Works with internal teams as needed for crafting and producing photo shoots, video production projects and initiatives for internal communication or employer branding purposes.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:


  • 35 years of communications or copywritingrelated experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • Ability to think creatively and use communications as an innovative tool to engage people.
  • A strong writer and storyteller familiar with CP Style and news writing, understands audiences and captures stories that reflect the employee experience at Sephora.
  • Ensure highquality content with strong attention to spelling, grammar, readability, and tone.
  • Familiar with various intranet management systems, backend structures, and building architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal client relationships, including working with executives.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional followup and organization.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with digital video production platforms like CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, etc.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with crossfunctional stakeholders.
