A career as a Team Lead in the Financial Markets sector at National Bank means providing support to Senior Executives for their customized needs.

Overview


As a Team Lead you will provide extensive support to three separate lines of businesses within Sales and Trading, who have diverse needs which are constantly evolving, as well as complex regulatory environments specific to the nature of the sector.

It will be crucial in this role to manage risk by ensuring employee requirements in terms of compliance are enforced and adhered to.

In this role you will also manage two coordinators in their support of approximately 90 employees from these sectors.


Your job

  • Provide high quality support services which include training and mobilizing staff towards reaching our mission and objectives
  • Ensure smooth running of sector needs and troubleshoot where necessary
  • Play an instrumental role in any remodeling projects (furniture and equipment, space allocation). As well as health and safety needs and requirements
  • Responsible for customized communications on behalf of Senior Executives
  • Active lead in all client events initiated by Senior Executives
  • Manage initiatives related to all philanthropic initiatives

Your team


You will be part of the Administration and Business Management Equity sector and will report to the Managing Director, Business Management Equity Group.

The role is located in our Toronto offices.

Prerequisites

  • Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written) with experience supporting Senior Managers and Executives
  • Confident with the capacity to challenge new requests or new processes that are not optimal and are not applicable in Financial Markets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills, experience managing a small team preferred
  • Bilingual (French/English) would be considered and asset
