WSP Canada is currently seeking to add a Project Manager to its
Hydropower & Dams team, within the
Power Canada division.

What you can expect to do here:

Manage multidisciplinary projects in hydroelectricity and dams;
Research, develop and maintain client relations;
Evaluate project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, including the earned value method;
Use and develop leadership skills on an ongoing basis;
Attend conferences and training courses to maintain and develop new skills;
Occasional travel for project meetings, site assessments, training and other purposes;
Support project management processes, including opening, closing and quality assurance processes;
Track change requests to ensure regular followup; Other duties as assigned/required, in project management and control, costs and schedules.

What you'll bring to WSP:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant field;
Senior level experience in the hydropower and dams market;
Member in good standing of the Professional Engineer of Ontario or be able to become one.
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work;
Ability to meet deadlines, execute and manage multiple tasks;
Knowledge of planning software (MS Project or Primavera P6) considered an asset;
MBA or PMP certification considered an asset; and
Proactive approach to problem solving with good decisionmaking skills.
