OVERVIEW:

This is a work from home position that may require occasional on-site work at our Edmonton office.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with your team and our stakeholders via virtual technologies.
  • Work in partnership with your L&OD leadership and the leadership of the LDS portfolio to identify training requirements based on department and company goals and target dates.
  • Provide engaging virtual facilitation experiences to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Evaluate the impact of training programs to ensure objectives are met.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in written and verbal communication both in and outside of the virtual classroom to communicate ideas and collaborate with stakeholders and various levels of leadership.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:


  • Relevant postsecondary degree (e.g., education, adult education, instructional design, or healthrelated field such as nursing, kinesiology, rehabilitation medicine or social work).
  • Education and/or experience related to disability claims management, including both short term disability and longterm disability claims.
  • Preference will be given to those with an adult learning certificate from an accredited institution or other relevant postsecondary training and work experience.
  • Knowledge of instructional design models and adult learning principles.
  • Ability to work well independently within a virtual team.
  • Strong research and problemsolving skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
