- Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanics in the shop and operators in the yard.
- Service and repair Wright Construction vehicles and equipment.
- Communicate and manage costs with sublet repair shops and parts suppliers, issue POs for repair parts and submit POs to the office as required.
- Assign work orders and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Other duties as required.
- Prior experience as a shop manager or similar managerial role is preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Construction Industry is an asset
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair.
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Must be able to work well within a team setting and contribute to team success
- Be able to efficiently carry out tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
