This is a fixed term contract for months.

POSITION LOCATION/DEPARTMENT:

Warehouse - Narcotic Dept.


REPORTS TO:

Manager of Controlled Substance Operations
:
Responsible for the day to day operations of the Narcotic department. To ensure the safe and accurate transaction of narcotic and controlled drugs.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide oversite to the Vaughan Controlled Substances Department
  • Coordinate workflow with other members of the department to ensure Client requirements are met
  • Processing of Monthly Activity Reports (MARs)
  • Entering product receipts into inventory.
  • Processing Import / Export Permits
  • Checking and monitoring inventory levels for discrepancies and/or potential back orders.
  • Authorizing returns
  • Processing of Destructions
  • License renewals and amendments
  • Dealing with customer and client questions and/or concerns.
  • Communicating with the appropriate Health Canada officials regarding regulatory affairs, lossreporting.

SKILLS/TRAINING REQUIRED:


  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • High work standards.
  • Good problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to make decisions and recommendations.
  • Ability to provide work direction and instructions to assisting staff.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


Minimum education required:

  • B.Sc. Degree

Minimum experience required:
years of related work experience.

  • Plus 6 months onthejob training OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
