Supplier Auditor.**
Qualifications:
  • Education: University Degree in a relevant field (science, engineering, etc.)
o ASQ - Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent

o Certificate in ISO auditing or equivalent

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in auditing of shipbuilding, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS 9100 or equivalent Quality Management Systems
  • Indepth knowledge of shipbuilding materials, processes, and industry standards would be an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Ability to travel to supplier locations for onsite audits.
  • All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)._

Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct comprehensive audits of supplier facilities.
  • Evaluate supplier documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify critical components and materials, establishing audit criteria accordingly.
  • Provide timely and detailed audit reports, outlining findings, nonconformities, and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Work closely with suppliers to address nonconformities, implement corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement in quality processes.
