**Shift work required

The Front Desk Associate will work with our team to provide guests with exceptional service and memorable experiences.


Responsibilities and Duties:


Duties include guest check in/out, pleasant and courteous guest service, taking reservations, phone answering, transaction accuracy, maintaining cleanliness and assisting in all other departments.


  • Resolve guest complaints or conflict situations
  • Book and record accurately all hotel room reservations or inquiries
  • Ensure all incoming calls are answered in a professional manner and according to hotel policies
  • Make, confirm, change and cancel reservations
  • Use upselling techniques to increase reservations revenue
  • Ensure that check in/checkout standards are being met
  • Assist guests in accessing hotel facilities and services as well as services available in the community.

Qualifications:


  • Hotel especially Hilton experience strongly preferred
  • Professional presentation
  • Excellent communication skills (a second language is an asset)
  • 100% punctual, dependable and ready to advance and learn
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work well under pressure and stressful situations
  • Exceptional multitasking skills and ability to be empathetic to guest needs
  • Ability to work with computers
  • Ability to do other work as needed
  • Hilton experience will be plus
