**Shift work requiredThe Front Desk Associate will work with our team to provide guests with exceptional service and memorable experiences.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Duties include guest check in/out, pleasant and courteous guest service, taking reservations, phone answering, transaction accuracy, maintaining cleanliness and assisting in all other departments.
- Resolve guest complaints or conflict situations
- Book and record accurately all hotel room reservations or inquiries
- Ensure all incoming calls are answered in a professional manner and according to hotel policies
- Make, confirm, change and cancel reservations
- Use upselling techniques to increase reservations revenue
- Ensure that check in/checkout standards are being met
- Assist guests in accessing hotel facilities and services as well as services available in the community.
Qualifications:
- Hotel especially Hilton experience strongly preferred
- Professional presentation
- Excellent communication skills (a second language is an asset)
- 100% punctual, dependable and ready to advance and learn
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work well under pressure and stressful situations
- Exceptional multitasking skills and ability to be empathetic to guest needs
- Ability to work with computers
- Ability to do other work as needed
- Hilton experience will be plus
