Job Description:
Working as part of a team, the Investment Risk Analyst supports the ongoing oversight of sub-advisors and provides timely and accurate production of risk analytics, attribution and performance reports.
Main job functions include:
Perform calculations, validation and testing of performance reports and client statements, investigate discrepancies.
Contribute to design and documentation of updated performance workflows and processes
Support front office teams as a performance expert to check and validate performance content in external reporting and presentation materials
Provides specialized reporting for high value clients.
Acts as a team player and contributes to the continuous improvement of client servicing and productivity within the group.
Supports the sub-advisor oversight by participating and ensuring the efficient organization of quarterly or annual meetings and accurate documentation is completePreparing attribution reports and analyzing and interpreting the results in a clear and concise manner for executive and colleagues
Work with external firms to obtain regulatory, compliance and marketing material as well as find solutions to problems, coordinating across multiple areas within TDAM
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Degree in Mathematics/Statistic, economics, finance or related field
- Pursuing or completion of a CIPM and/or CFA designation is considered an asset
- Skill in Microsoft Office (advanced excel)
- Skill with SQL, Python, Morningstar is considered an asset
- Team player able to work with multiple priorities
- Curious and resourceful with respect to problemsolving
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
