SUMMARY:
The Store Services Coordinator provides support to Metro Ontario stores by investigating and resolving system and master data issues that have been identified.
The department is the communication hub to our store network and provides a place for stores to direct inquiries that they may have.
They are the liaison between our stores and the head office departments, ensuring accurate data flow and issue resolution. The coordinator works in a fast-paced environment alongside a team of great individuals in a shared inbox.This position is a good fit for someone who is looking to explore the Grocery industry, thrives in a work environment that both adheres to precise deadlines and requires out of the box thinking.
This is an extremely important role within Metro, as this team is often the first point of contact for stores and represents the Metro brand.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively troubleshoot/resolve issues identified by the various business units using relevant systems and tools.
- Prioritize issues for resolution and escalate to management as required.
- Coordinate issue resolution activities with the relevant departments.
- Ensure that corrections are executed and communicated in a courteous, accurate and timely manner.
- Identify root cause of similar issues and suggest global resolution.
- Enter and/or validate system information for retail, item maintenance and promotional flyers.
- Create clear and direct communication to the stores to ensure understanding and compliance of directives.
- Complete data entry into our SAP system.
- Create action logs and summary reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience with SAP is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong timemanagement and organizational skills
RELATIONSHIPS:
- Internal Contacts include Head Office Staff, Distribution Centres, Stores, Pharmacies
- External Contacts include Vendors, Suppliers
