Commercial Logistic Inc.

is an asset based trucking company, offering both less-than-truckload (LTL) and truckload (FTL) service to all points in the Province of British Columbia, Canada.

Both companies are headquartered in Richmond, British Columbia.

**Hours: Mondays

Thursdays 8:30 pm
7:00 am**
Position Overview:Working mainly independently with guidance from Warehouse Supervisor as required, prepare products for shipment, and receive incoming products.

Main Responsibilities:

Inspect and verify incoming products against supporting documents, record shortages and damaged goods
Unpack, unload and route or transport products to appropriate storage areas
Prepare loads for shipping, load containers, check contents to be shipped against supporting documents and report any discrepancies
Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store products
Maintain internal recordkeeping systems
Other general warehouse duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

At least 3 years of relevant experience is a must
Forklift experience is must.
Valid forklift certification is a definite asset
Completion of secondary school

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Preferred Incumbent must be highly skilled in using a standup counterbalanced forklift
Ability to lift up to 45lb on a regular basis
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and even temperament
Ability to work effectively both independently and as team with mínimal supervision
