Warehouse Administrator - Vaughan, Canada - Coast Appliances
Description
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Administrator is responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to, scheduling shipments (outgoing and incoming), coordinating delivery calendars/schedules, keeping organized and accurate records, verifying incoming order packing slips & BOL's, assisting in inventory counts, assisting customers with inquiries, creating, running, and sending reports.
Processing product returns to DC.PLEASE NOTE
This position will start in our Vaughan Location for the first few months and will move to our Brand new Caledon Location once it is completed - Early 2023
Duties:
In addition to the standard job duties listed above, the DC Coordinator will
- Check all receiving reports for POs to ensure that all product is received.
- Reporting of any overages & shortages to manager / assistant manager to track and correct immediately
- Assist with cycle counts ensuring they are completed as per the provided schedule
- Track/follow up on pending product returns from customers to ensure they are returned.
- Process product returns and communicate with sales staff, customerservice and delivery team accordingly.
- Track, prepare and schedule items to be returned to Vendors and verify they are processed out system.
- Communication with Branch staff as required.
General shared duties:
- Present yourself with a positive attitude towards all staff, customers, drivers and any additional personal in the DC
- General cleanliness of all areas of the DC, sweeping, and picking up all debris.
- Assist customers, installers, delivery associates and all other visitors.
- Providing copies of all signed customer invoices, BOL's and picking slips to the DC coordinator for upload.
- Be in attendance and participate with every inventory
Working Conditions:
- Working with or around moving mechanical machines including order pickers, pallet jacks, and counterbalance clamp trucks
- Varying noise levels that can be loud at certain times
- Fast paced environment in which adherence to all occupational health and safety procedures is critical
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to use the Microsoft portfolio, inducing Outlook, excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- The ability to work well with others and build an effective team. Always representing the company with a positive attitude.
- Ability to adhere to all occupational health and safety procedures and company policies
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic. Drive to continually improve knowledge and skills
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1year administrative experience
- A strong will to learn all training is provided
- Health & Safety, and Forklift certifications are considered an asset

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Salary:
$19.00-$21.00 per hour
