Primary/Essential Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the blast and paint booth and PPE
Prepare objects for blast operation according to procedures and instructions
Monitor the condition of equipment and tooling
Clean and prep surfaces using such processes as sanding, scraping and grinding
Application of a protective coating to a variety of metal material surfaces
Monitor extractors, drying fans and heaters
Board and mask material
Ensure all paint related waste is properly labeled, stored and disposed of
Maintain paint booth and associated equipment to ensure proper working condition
Ensure job meets all requirement before leaving work cell
Meet or exceed established production levels
Perform preventative maintenance procedures
Inspect all work before passing it on to the next operation
Follow all health and safety procedures for machinery
Ensures waste disposal is disposed of following our Health and Safety/Environmental procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
1 years' experience in spray painting and/or blasting in an industrial paint booth environment is preferred
Past experience reading blueprints
Experience operating a forklift
Experience operating overhead crane

Physical Demands / Working Conditions:

Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs
Pushing and pulling
Frequent bending, squatting, standing and walking
Frequent use of various hand and power tools
