We are presently accepting resumes for qualified and enthusiastic
Direct Support Workers to work in our Accommodations Program in Barrie, Ontario.

This position guarantees up to 59.5 hours bi-weekly.

Compensation Package:

Additional hours may be available with a minimum rate of pay of $23.65/hour;
11 paid Statutory Holidays;
Confidential Employee Assistance program for you and for your immediate family;

Following the successful completion of probation:

Employer paid health and life insurance; employee/employer paid dental;
Employer paid sick and personal leave time;
Vacation hours;

Minimum Qualifications:

A valid "Class G" driver's license and reliable transportation are considered an asset.

Role/Duties:

Our Direct Support Workers provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities with all aspects of daily living within a group home setting.

Responsibilities may include providing support during overnight shifts, personal care, household duties, meal preparation and finances. You may also support people to appointments or events to foster connections within the community.
