1. Job description
Under the supervision of the Quality Manager, the incumbent of this position is responsible for all of the quality control tasks entrusted to him.
2. SQF REQUIREMENTS
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations applicable in the factory.
- Follow company policies.
- Follow the instructions from the Quality procedure
3. TASKS
- Perform data entry of finished products and raw materials.
- Evaluate the quality and the functionality of the raw materials and finished products.
- Carry out physicochemical and microbiological analyzes.
- Submit product samples to the external laboratory for chemical and / or microbiological analysis.
- Continually educate employees about quality and hygiene.
- Perform swabbing according to the established plans.
- Assist the other members of the department in their duties.
- Manage returns of suppliers and customers.
- Manage obsolete and retained inventories.
- Technical support in production for specific cases.
- All other tasks related to the position.
4. HYGIENE AND SQF QUALITY TASKS
- Perform factory inspections (Preoperational, inspection of premises for cleaning (verification), soap dispenser and pest management program). Verification of production formulas, including CCP.
- Verification of labels for allergens (CCP).
- Take microbiological, ATP and Allergen swabs.
- Comply with SQF food standards and procedures at all times
5. REQUIREMENTS
- College degree in Food Processing or any other related discipline.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Autonomy, initiative, thoroughness, creative, methodical, good judgment, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, patient, versatile, good communication. At occasion, being able to lift bags of 25 kg.
