THE ROLE


As our Project Coordinator, you will exhibit meticulous attention to detail, possess comprehensive technical knowledge, and demonstrate expertise in Project Management across various practice areas.

Reports to:
Construction Project Manager


RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management Support:


  • Supports overall project management through planning and administration, including developing and maintaining core project documents such as detailed project plans, progress reports, client briefings, program plans, communications, presentations, deliverables, and reporting.
  • Works with assigned project teams to identify critical path activities and develop plans for timely execution.
  • Proactively identifies project issues and risks, preparing mitigation plans in collaboration with the project team.
  • Monitors and oversees tasks and plans to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Tools Development and Maintenance:


  • Develops and maintains specific project tools, including Project Plans, Risk Logs, Decision Logs, and Project Status Updates.

Communication:


  • Coordinates project teams by actively communicating progress, setbacks, deadlines, and other pertinent information for detailed project tasks.
  • Leads the development of ongoing project status update documents.
  • Acts as a core minutetaker during project meetings.
  • Provides appropriate and effective communication to company executives and other key stakeholders.

Professional Development and Compliance:


  • Pursues professional development to stay updated on changes in project management processes, methods, and technologies.
  • Ensures compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience or completion of a coop work placement.
  • Post-Secondary diploma or degree from an accredited university/college
  • Construction Project Management Degree/Certificates or Architecture
  • Construction Engineering Technology preferred.
  • Experience in navigating highly complex, enterprisewide environments, where meticulous attention to detail minimizes ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Proficient facilitation skills and adeptness in generating creative solutions to tackle diverse and challenging scenarios.
  • Selfmotivated individual, capable of excelling in fastpaced and everevolving environments.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Resultsdriven mindset with a proven track record of meeting ambitious deadlines.
  • Innovative and dynamic approach to problemsolving.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, characterized by energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to personal and team development.
