The Manager will be responsible for supervising Regional Family Transition Advisors across Canada and work closely with key stakeholders at each Canadian Armed Forces Transition Centre, including Veteran Affairs Canada and Military Family Resource Centres to ensure military and Veteran families have adequate supports and services to address the uniqueness of the military lifestyle.
The Military Family Services Program Manager will provide advice and guidance to the CAF, MFRCs and partners on MFSP programs and policy issues as well as review, evaluate and conduct amendments to MFS and MFSP services, policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Social Work, Community Development or a related field
AND
Several years of experience in social research, program and community development in the not-for-profit/volunteer sector, or a related field
Experience
- In managing financial resources
- In financial analysis

- In developing, applying, interpreting and implementing policies and procedures
- In developing and implementing family related programs
- In business planning
- In project management
- In planning and conducting presentations, workshops and briefing sessions
- In planning, organizing and managing data collection
