Job Description:
Key responsibilities:
- Receiving, verifying and unloading incoming materials;
- Reporting inventory on hand and participating in scheduled and adhoc inventory cycle counts;
- Organizing material for safe and easy access in the available storage locations;
- Processing SAP reservations and issuing material to end users;
- Completing any required receiving or shipping documentation;
- Packaging of material or goods for storage, shipment or return;
- Organizing delivery of material & goods requested to departments and contractors;
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organized warehouse storage space;
- Performing various tasks related to warehousing operations (stock transfers, returns processing, goods inspections, picking and kitting orders for shutdowns, material verifications and storage maintenance);
- Operating various types of equipment such as stand up forklift, counter balance forklift, telehandlers, pickup truck, cube van, tractor trailer, aircraft deicing truck, aircraft refueling truck, loaders, crew bus; and
- Learning, understanding and complying with all company policies and safety procedures.
The role is based within the Supply Chain team and is a site-based position that will be a (2) two weeks on, (2) weeks off rotation.
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years' experience working within a warehouse & logistics environment preferably within the mining industry;
- Minimum of five (5) years working with SAP and inventory management methods and practices;
- Certification and experience operating equipment listed above;
- High School diploma;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Superior organization and coordination skills, initiative, professionalism and dependability;
- Willingness to work shift work;
- Proven commitment to Safety, Health and Environmental Standards; and
- Experience working at a remote mining site and in a crosscultural work environment.
- Legally permitted to work in Canada;
Desirable Assets:
- Experience utilizing barcode technology; and
- Dangerous good certification for ground (TDG) and air (IATA) freight.

Preference given to residents of the NWT and current Gahcho Kué Mine contractors.
