OVERVIEW:
We're looking for a digital storyteller to help create timely content through Golf Canada's social channels and digital platforms.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- **Content creation & publishing 60%*
- Produce and distribute creative assets for Golf Canada's web, digital and social channels (i.e. shortform video, longform video, graphics, etc.)
- Develop content (written and image) for Golf Canada's online properties
- **Community management
20%:
- Assist with monitoring Golf Canada's social media channels and respond to questions/comments
- Assist with various communications initiatives for Golf Canada's professional golf championships (RBC Canadian Open & CP Women's Open);
- **Administrative Support
15%:
- Help track and report on projects using project management software
- **Other Duties
5%:
- Special assignments as required
- Some travel may be required
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects)
- Familiarity with Canva software
- Proficient in all social platforms
- Experience with photography or video production considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills administration skills
- Evening and weekend hours will be required to cover relevant golf news
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong decision making skills
- The ability to work independently and part of a team
- Bilingual (English and French) is not required but considered an asset.
- Golf knowledge or experience is not required but considered an asset.
