The activities of Cerelia North America are split over 3 different locations:

  • Toronto, Ontario (CA): 2 factories and 1 distribution Center (cookies)
  • Columbus, Ohio (USA): 1 factory (cookies & rolled dough)
  • Liberty, South Carolina (USA): 1 factory (pancakes & waffles)
Cérélia Group currently operates 12 production plants globally with approximately 2,500 associates throughout Europe, North America, and Asia. Position Profile


Reporting to the Manager - IT Operations
, the
IT Support Specialist will be to develop and maintain an effective, reliable and secure information systems to support the entire client group.

The incumbent will also play a key role in the implementation of the ERP system and training end users on the product.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensuring proper IT onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Provide Type 1 support for IT issues logged in the company's ticketing system
  • Play a pivotal role IT inventory management
  • Provide support as and when needed to the ongoing infrastructure projects
  • Actively participate and play a key role in the ERP implementation project
  • Create and monitor tickets with our ERP service provider and follow up when necessary
  • Debug type 1 transactions issues
  • Train users on ERP when required
  • Assess the company's information system and communicate identified gaps to the management in a simplified manner
  • Ensure all systems run smoothly and efficiently
  • Ensure all security and privacy measures are in place
  • Monitor security certificates and ensure company's compliance with requirements
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical support to the employees when needed
  • Install necessary updates to company software and hardware

Required Qualifications

  • 12 years of experience in an Information Technology environment.
  • University degree, college diploma in any IT discipline or appropriate experience in lieu of
  • Expertise and knowledge in designing and implementing Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, SQL Server, Office
