What will your job look like?:
- Manage project schedules and budgets for creation, conformance, QC, and delivery of scripts, subtitles, captions, dubs, and audio description
- Interface with clients and internal departments across the organization to ensure project needs and deadlines are met
- Provide technical and process oversight for the creation of localized elements
- Track and communicate project statuses and schedules
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks to schedules, budgets, quality, and relationships
- Contribute to continuous process and product improvements for scheduling, tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and billing
- Review content to document localization challenges and provide creative guidance to clients, dubbing studios, and other contributors
- Provide quotes and ensure that purchase orders are obtained in a timely fashion
- Participate scheduled and ad hoc meetings
- Collaborate with growing, global team to develop and improve processes, and to maintain alignment of capacity and capabilities with client needs
- Contribute to and participate in professional development, and foster a mutually supportive team environment
All you need is
:
- 5+ years related experience
- 5+ years customer management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt communication style to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Competence in Excel or similar tools; competence in tools to model processes and workflows visually is a plus
- Eagerness to learn new skills and share knowledge with internal and external teams
- Effective problem solver able to assess and adapt to changing priorities and strategies
- Thorough knowledge of film, video and file elements, workflows and technologies
- Detailed understanding of content localization and accessibility, including scripting, subtitling, captioning, dubbing, voiceover, and audio description
- Knowledge of industry terminology and ability restructure client requests into actionable tasks for internal teams and external partners
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively
- Ability to work without supervision and handle heavy workload
