Currently seeking casual Dietary Aides to join our team at North Queens Nursing Home in Caledonia, NS. North Queens Nursing home is a progressive 44 bed long term care facility which prides itself on providing high quality care to seniors.

Qualifications:

Previous food service experience required, preferably in a long term care setting
Relevant education in Food Handling and Sanitation, Food Service Worker Course, and/or Basic Cooking are an asset
Current WHMIS and Food Handlers Course required
Must be physically able to perform the duties of the position
Ability to work independently or as team
Must be able to accept supervision
Regular attendance in current and previous employment
Experience and interest in working with seniors
Alzheimer's Disease and other Dementias care course an asset

Rate:
as per CUPE local 2997 collective agreement
