National Bank Financial is a leading Canadian Financial Services company.

A wholly owned subsidiary of the National Bank of Canada, it is an established investment dealer that provides research, sales, trading and investment banking services to institutional and retail investors.

The firm is seeking an Associate Analyst who will work directly with the firm's Research Analyst in the Global Metals and Mining sector in our Toronto office.

This position requires an ambitious and self-motivated individual who is willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Your Job

Analysis of financial statements and the valuation of domestic and foreign companies
Development and maintenance of financial models
Industry & market research and collection and maintenance of industry and company data
Evaluation of additional information from the financial press, corporate, industry and alternative sources
Assist in writing and editing research notes, reports and analyst presentations
Communication with institutional clients, management of companies under coverage and equity sales staff

Basic Requirements

Undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field
Experience with financial modeling and analysis
Industry experience and professional credentials (CPA, CFA)
Willingness to work long hours in a fastpaced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
