You will be establishing and maintaining relationships with multiple levels and functions in the customers' organization, managing the sales call process while growing and developing your book of business, identifying and qualifying opportunities and involving the appropriate resources to execute these opportunities.
You will be supported by an incredibly talented Design and Project Management team along with some of the most comprehensive in-house manufacturing capabilities in North America.
In this capacity, you will:
- Establish, maintain and manage effective business relationships at both the functional and executive levels; must be able to articulate the value Somerville can bring to the relationship
- Establish, maintain and manage effective business relationships with business partners.
- Present the capabilities of yourself and Somerville in a confident and professional manner.
- Manage "Sales Process" including market attack plans, CRM opportunity management process, and account planning. Manage contract negotiation and renewal process working in conjunction with internal support
- Work collaboratively with internal support team to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction
- Meet or exceed required sales targets
- Keep current on relevant strategic technologies, trends and materials; continually develop industry knowledge by participating in key industry events/conferences, reading trade journals, participating in vendors' training programs and taking advantage of external education as appropriate
- Have a proven track record in competitive selling, including at least
- 7 years experience
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity
- Sell complex products and solutions to customers
- Ability to learn now things are manufactured and how that knowledge applies to clients
- Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Exhibit the ability to work in a fastpaced environment with a high degree of independence
- Post secondary education required
