WHAT YOU WILL DO

Work collectively with the various stakeholders to implement initiatives determined by the project sponsor
Conduct business analysis, understand and document business objectives and requirements, perform gap analysis and recommendation on functional design
Play a vital part assisting in identifying project deliverables and developing milestones for project completion
Work with internal and external partners to identify business needs and ensure these needs align to business goals and objectives
Bring a high level of product knowledge and business expertise in order to analyze, identify, evaluate and recommend improvements to business functions and processes
Effectively lead meetings and group discussions with project team members and stakeholders to ensure collaboration on project deliverables
Create extensive test plans that confidently tests functionality being implemented against documented requirements
Verify test output, report critical issues and coordinate with various resources for problem resolution

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Minimum of 2 years related working experience in the Mutual Funds/Securities Industry
An extensive knowledge of products offered and good working knowledge of business processes, procedures and practices
Knowledge of User Acceptance testing (UAT); ability to create extensive test plans that confidently tests functionality being implemented against documented requirements
Strong analytical capabilities are required along with a strong focus on attention to detail
Solid communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
Solid organizational skills, capable of multitasking and the ability to deliver high quality work under pressure
Motivated person with the ability to work independently as well as a contributing member of the team
Excellent business skills, information systems experience and exposure to project management processes an asset
Sound knowledge/understanding of various Assante systems (ActionPRO, NFR, InvestorPOS, SmartDox, Discretionary, etc.) will be an asset
