Job Information:


The Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Indigenous Knowledge (EDI-IK) Coordinator is responsible for providing support services to the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee and the Indigenous Knowledge (IK) Advisory Group within Aurora College.

The incumbent provides administrative assistance, logístical support services and guidance to college staff, committee and governance members associated with both committees with a primary focus on advancing and maintaining the associated essential practices within the college structure.


Located in Fort Smith and reporting to the Vice President, Community & Extensions, the EDI-IK Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, implementation and delivery of administrative, and logistic support services for both the EDI committee and the IK Advisory Group and the subsequent work associated with those bodies at Aurora College.

In collaboration with the EDI committee Co-Chair's you will coordinate a college wide response to the identified Key Performance Indicators in the EDI strategic plan.

Also in collaboration with the IK Advisory Group Chair, you will deliver on committee projects, support communications and outreach and complete other duties as required.


Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:

A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline with two (2) years of experience in an administrative or coordinator or logístical support role.
