Applications are invited for the one year renewable term position of Men's Soccer Head Coach.


The Head Coach leads the organization and administration of the men's soccer program along with the recruitment and training of student-athletes.

The Head Coach also assumes other responsibilities including a key role in the promotion of the program, fundraising, alumni relations and community development.

This position will be responsible for leading the soccer program for competition in the MCAC (Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference) and the CCAA (Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association).

This includes participation in MCAC Futsal Competition.


Reporting to the Director of Athletics and Recreation, the duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: working with the Athletics staff to prepare a season schedule of training and competition; recruiting student athletes and selecting team members; teaching and training student athletes in individual and team skills and tactics; maintaining records and statistics of the team and players; working with Athletics Staff to coordinate assistant coaches and other program supports; providing fundraising support to the Athletics program; developing relationships with alumni; working with Athletics staff to maintain inventory of team equipment and supplies; support academic success of team members; plan and operate within an annual budget; complete and submit MCAC and CCAA requirements (eligibility documents, all-star awards, etc.); and other relevant duties as assigned.
