  • To be considered for this position you must be a registered Apprentice in the trade of Steamfitter-Pipefitter
  • Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
  • Experience on major industrial project sites
  • The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
  • Must be organized, selfdriven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
  • Must have experience working in a fabrication shop at a table. Fabricating off of Acorn cutsheets
  • Interpreting drawings and piping details
  • Detail orientated and able to work with Imperial and metric measurements.

Tasks may include:

  • Pickling stainless
  • Cutting pipe with Chop Saw/ Zip cutting
  • Lifting/ moving material in shop
  • Grinding/ beveling pipe
  • Bridge tacking carbon/stainless steel
  • Loading positioners
  • Picking material
  • Process piping and equipment installations
  • Threading, Cutting, Grooving, Bending, Measuring of piping
  • Hydrostatic testing of installed piping systems
  • Ensuring safe work practices, EH&S processes, and OH&S compliance are followed on site

  • CSTS09 or CSTS 2020
  • WHMIS 2015
