Crown Lift Trucks Canada operates eight full-service branches in both Ontario and Quebec offering complete service solutions including maintenance programs, parts supply, and training.

***Responsible for coordinating training records, training correspondence, and participant scheduling for regional training sites. Maintain training databases, files, and materials. This position reports to the General Manager of Branch Aftermarket Operations. The position provides support to both Demonstrated Performance (DP) Training and Operator (OP) Training divisions.

  • Maintain the Class Scheduler database. Coordinate schedule with trainers and management.
  • Schedule participants to attend classes at regional training sites. Enroll appropriate employees as participants by entering information into database.
  • Coordinate necessary lodging and transportation between training sites, airports, and hotels for participants, as needed.
  • Prepare and mail premeeting letters, instructions, and materials prior to attendee arrival at the regional training sites.
  • Prepare name tags, table tents, menus, attendance sheets, tshirt order forms, hotel surveys, class evaluation forms, dinner selections for participants who require lodging, and name stickers for module tracking.
  • Enter participant completion data into the database, report cards, class module spreadsheet, and local branch training spreadsheet as appropriate. Prepare and distribute reports showing completed modules. Prepare and distribute report cards and certificates.
  • Invoice customers. May prepare, log, and distribute training quotes upon request. Assist in collection of outstanding accounts where required.
  • Code and process vendor accounts payables related to training. Handle vendor payment inquiries.
  • Coordinate lunch menus, orders, and deliveries with food vendors. Set up daily lunches.
  • Maintain inventory and order classroom supplies, OP and DP training books, snacks, shirts, frames, etc.
  • Assist in setting up/tearing down before and after each session.
  • Assist with scheduling of all regional training and meeting activities.
  • May contact external customers on an as needed basis.
  • 5S Implementation tasks as assigned by the GM of Aftermarket.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOW HOW & EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant postsecondary schooling preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and math skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • General computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs. Intermediatelevel Excel skills preferred.
