About the Role:


How you'll make a difference:


  • Monitor and participate in the implementation of resource management policies and procedures by the operational teams:
  • Train team stakeholders, monitor and report on their compliance with policies and procedures;
  • Effectively fill resource engagement requests, collect, enter and update resource planning and budgeting data, take ownership of the data accuracy in the system and tools;
  • Proactively work with operational teams and resource management leadership to identify and resolve potential, existing and upcoming scheduling conflicts and trends; effectively communicate issues to team leaders as needed;
  • Responsible for overseeing the utilization of resources, ensuring alignment of resources with the strategic plan, analyzing operational results, and promoting the development of Regulatory staff;
  • Provide information for
    shortterm and strategic planning as directed; implement strategies to increase capacity and achieve business goals;
  • Act as a resource and the point of contact for all partners, senior managers and managers to mediate conflicts and resolve resource needs that develop within the Regulatory Group
  • Promote and monitor sharing of resources within the Regulatory Group;
  • Communicate with the Regulatory Group management team on a timely basis regarding future needs versus availability, potential staffing issues, and other information to allow the effective planning, deployment and utilization of resources within the group.

Who you are:


  • 1+ years relevant resource management (i.e. budgeting, planning, scheduling, etc) experience;

Required Skills and Abilities:


  • Strong Microsoft office skills, specifically with Excel or Power BI on pivot tables, vlookups and complex formula functions, etc;
  • Solid understanding on the project life cycle and staffing requirements of operational engagements such as audit and other assurance engagements;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, with diverse audiences at all levels of the firm;
  • Excellent soft skills such as negotiation and influencing;
  • Effective organization and time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Operates with a sense of urgency;
  • Experience with an accounting or other professional services firm;
  • Bachelors or Associates Degree or equivalent.
