Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Gannett Fleming is looking for a

Junior

Project Coordinator who is a detail oriented, dynamic, problem solver that thrives in a fast-paced environment to support stakeholder engagement on large-scale transit expansion projects. Come join our growing team in the Greater Toronto Area

  • Support third party stakeholder engagement activities across various technical workstreams on large scale transit projects
  • Carry out various project coordination duties and provide document controls support
  • Assist the stakeholder engagement team with building and managing stakeholder relationships with key stakeholder groups including municipalities, provincial agencies, transit agencies, utilities etc.
  • Assist with carrying out communications and organizing meetings with third party stakeholders
  • Create, populate, and manage core project documents, spreadsheets and templates including, signoff forms, meeting agendas, trackers and meeting minutes
  • Assist with developing and implementing focused engagement plans and tactical delivery plans to schedule effective meetings and workshops
  • Communicate and coordinate stakeholder requirements across multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Assist with monitoring, analyzing and actioning feedback from stakeholders

Qualifications:


  • Completion of a degree in planning, engineering, applied science, or a related discipline or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a project coordination capacity and/or stakeholder engagement support role; ideally working in a complex environment
  • Able to perform in a fastpaced environment
  • Knowledge of legal documents including Project Agreements and Contracts would be beneficial
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written skills, strong proofreading and editing skills
  • Previously work within a consulting environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of the transit, transportation, urban planning sector is advantageous
  • Must be able to work with mínimal supervision within a fastpaced, technical, project environment
  • Must be flexible for work remotely, and onsite at company and client offices as needed
