What can I expect to do in this role?: You will:

  • Provide confidential executive support to the Office and liaise with executives, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Coordinate and manage administrative activities, prepare work plans, develop and implement standard operating procedures, and provide guidance to support staff.
  • Manage scheduling, information flow, and procurement.
  • Develop analysis and options for problem resolution and branch planning.
  • Conduct special projects and participate in crossfunctional working groups.
  • Develop and maintain schedules.
  • Forecast, monitor, and track the budget, including FTE allocation, operating budget, travel expenses, etc.

How do I qualify?:


Administrative Skills:


  • You have comprehensive knowledge of business planning and decisionmaking processes.

Communication and Relationship Building Skills:


  • You have consultation skills to provide advice and assistance to the Director and to the branch management team.
  • You can exercise political acuity and are able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders to anticipate, mitigate and respond to issues, and provide advice to the Director and/or managers.,
  • You have proven communication and interpersonal skills to connect with contacts at all levels, managing issues and building relationships effectively.
  • You have relationship management skills to collaborate with others, obtain agreement on initiatives, and support the team in achieving goals and objectives.
  • You can prepare a range of written materials including correspondence and reports.

Decision-Making and Planning Skills:


  • You can plan and independently handle administrative matters and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
  • You can determine the urgency of inquiries and resolve issues.
  • You demonstrate diplomacy, tact, and discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters and determine the appropriate release of information.
  • You have superior organizational skills and the ability to balance competing demands and meet tight deadlines.
  • You have experience in coordinating and navigating processes, directives and policies.

Research, Analytical and Computer Skills:


  • You have research, analytical, and financial skills to compile information, develop solutions to problems, and ensure accuracy in administrative transactions and expense reports.
