Who Are We Looking For?
Neptune Technology Group is currently searching for an energetic, dedicated, and self-reliant individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Training coordinator will be based out of the Edmonton office and is a Mobile position.


You
must be able to relocate as necessary for responsibilities including coordinating and managing field operations, scheduling, production, and subcontractor training and recruitment.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the recruitment and training of water meter installers across Canada with the support of another training coordinator.

They will also coordinate with and support Project managers of varying projects across Canada, ensuring that the headcounts required for each project are met.

This is an entry-level opportunity where successful incumbents can make significant contributions and gain valuable experience.


Job Duties:


  • Coordinate and oversee training courses that are being executed across the country.
  • Continuously improve training and recruitment processes to ensure the program meets all requirements while being efficient and engaging.
  • Utilize a variety of recruitment methods to meet subcontractor headcount forecasts such as generalized marketing, participating in job fairs, ordering and managing promotional materials, etc.
  • Hosting info sessions
  • Monitoring subcontractors moving forward posttraining and assessing metrics of the training and recruitment programs, reporting findings to the Senior Project Manager
  • Ensure tracking for all documentation, employment requirements, and company policy is collected.
  • Participating in company audits and upholding contract specifications

Requirements:


  • High School or above
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Must be mobile and able to temporarily relocate to meet project training needs (Projects may require support ranging from 1 month to a year)
  • 1+ years of training experience
  • 5day work week, occasional extended hours may be required

Specifications:


  • Demonstrated teaching and motivational attributes
  • Ability to plan, direct and improve lesson plans
  • Proven ability to interact professionally with management, clients, the public, and employees
  • Strong Organization and Task prioritization skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Experience with ERP systems is an asset
  • Quality assurance experience is an asset
  • Plumbing experience is an asset
