"General Accountability:
- Reporting to the Coordinator, Administrative Support, the incumbent is responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties including ordering and coordinating the delivery of uniform clothing for TTC operating staff The incumbent ensures that new employees, including new supervisors, are issued and reissued clothing in accordance to the Local 5089 Collective Agreement. The incumbent works with various stakeholders, vendors and sources to ensure that current operating personnel are supplied with uniform issue clothing, verifies and processes invoices, and provides documentation and reports as required.
Key Job Functions:
- Taking and recording measurements for uniform garments and issuing preliminary clothing and equipment to newly hired employees
- Taking and recording measurements for the annual distribution of uniform items and vouchers
- Supplying data to the tailoring companies and addressing inquiries in a timely manner
- Ensuring that all clothing fits properly and arranging for appropriate adjustments as required
- Issuing preliminary and replacement uniform and equipment items
- Documenting relevant employee information and entitlement records into the Uniform Management System (UMS) and maintaining a variety of records and reports concerning uniform clothing
- Ordering garments from vendors and suppliers and coordinating the delivery of items to different sections
- Monitoring all phases of uniforms entitlement, measurement, production, supply, delivery and billing
- Verifying information on packing slips and invoices and resolving discrepancies,
- May be required to prepare invoices for authorization
- Monitoring the department's uniform, equipment and stationary inventory and keeping the Coordinator, Administrative Support informed accordingly
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned

Skills:
- Create, document, and manage information and records
- Communicate in a variety of mediums
Education and Experience: - Completion of a Secondary school diploma, or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent, combined with some directly related work experience
Additional Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of office practices, procedures and equipment.
- Sound judgement; attention to detail; welldeveloped analytical, problem solving, organizational, time management, interpersonal, oral communication and writing skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and employees.
- Ability to multitask and work well in a fast paced environment and as part of a team.
- Must have or rapidly acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements pertaining to passengers and employees.
