Catholic Social Services is currently seeking for Program Assistant(s) - Casual (no guaranteed hours) in EDMONTON to join the Elpida North team.
Providing excellent client-centered care, you are confident, thoughtful, and motivated to achieve success when supporting others in your communityProgram Overview:
You will be working in a Federal Halfway House whose primary focus is to assist the clients in making a successful transition to a responsible community life.
Job Summary:
As a Program Assistant, you are a team player who is dedicated to the supervision, support, assessment, and counselling of men or women on parole from federal institutions.
- making abilities, you respond to difficult client behaviour in a non-reactive manner.
You have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working in the human service field
- Training and experience with corrections, addictions, and the criminal justice system or adult offenders is preferred.
- Enhanced Security Check and Child Intervention Record Check
