Construction Carpenter/Labourer with a background in Residential/Commercial Construction to join our team

Job Summary:

While reporting to the Site Superintendent, construction labourers must ensure that high-quality performance and compliance to project standards are maintained while following safety and industry protocols.

Accountabilities:

Site Safety
General Construction and Repair
Site Maintenance

Position Description:

Concrete formwork
Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames
Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
Working, leveling, and packing gravel
Operate Mobile Equipment safely
Accountable for following Keller and client safety requirements and practices
Work closely and communicate with the Superintendent on a regular basis to ensure your site operates smoothly
Maintain a visible and engaged presence on the site and act as a leader in safety
Ensure work site is kept clean and orderly
Work efficiently, responsibly, and professionally and maintain positive relationships with all project stakeholders and employees on site
Perform general labour onsite as needed

Desired Background

Must have reliable means to commute to and from work daily
A minimum of 2 years demonstrable work experience in residential/commercial construction
Current AWP, Fall Arrest, First Aid are assets
Certifications in operating mobile equipment is an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$23.00-$35.00 per hour
