Summary:

Working with the Manager of Core Platform & Embedded DevOps, the Lead, Identity ("the Lead") is responsible for leading teams across the Infrastructure Security group to enable secure interaction with core infrastructure as it pertains to identity, authentication and device security.

As these services integrate closely with other shared resources, the Lead must maintain strong working relationships with neighbouring technology teams and external support providers.

Maintaining secure infrastructure helps ensure that everyone goes home safe and healthy every day.

Responsibilities:

The Lead will be focused leading teams within the sphere of infrastructure security, to not only ensure that these tools remain operational, but also work to optimize and improve the use of these tools at Teck to streamline our operational support across teams, to increase Teck's security posture and to drive self-service to our users wherever possible.

Identity: Leading the team that supports: Microsoft Identity Manager, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Privileged Identity Manager, CyberArk. Leading vendor relationships and managed services for identity products and platforms. Maturing Teck's processes and procedures around Identity governance. Growing and transforming Teck's capabilities in these areas.
Authentication: Leading the team that supports toolsets to allow secure authentication to Teck's resources from any device (CyberArk, DUO, Azure conditional access). Handling vendor relationships for these products.
Vulnerability: Act as a delegate on decisions and critical issues related to the Teck Vulnerability Management program and the tools and teams involved in that program.
Lead the teams supporting the platforms detailed in the Dimensions section in accordance with Service Level Agreements for these systems.
Lead enhancement and project work to elevate and improve the use of these systems at Teck.
Constantly explore areas of improvement within our infrastructure and strongly advocate for them.
Nurture positive working relationships with neighbouring support teams to maintain Identity and Authentication infrastructure
Maintain current knowledge of Infrastructure Security concepts and products to ensure our solutions remain current, relevant and supportable.
Document and recommend process improvements for Identity Management processes design.

Qualifications:

Background in Information Systems and understanding of technology concepts.
Proficient in basic information security concepts and technologies
Background in Identity and Access Management domain of Cyber Security
Ability to lead, manage and mentor others.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse group, senior leaders, and domain specialists.
Ability to problem solve, work through issues and own matters through to completion.
Solid understanding of technologies listed in the "Responsibilities" section.
Selfmotivated and ability to handle concurrent priorities in order to get the job done.
Deep technical, analytic and problem solving abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills at both technical and business level
Deep understanding of IAM concepts (Provisioning, User Flows, Birthright, LifeCycle, Certification/Attestation, Analytics)
Proficient Spanish, both written and spoken, is considered an asset.
