Description
Wintec is looking to hire some flaggers for
out-of-town work.
Flaggers will be responsible for safely controlling the flow of traffic around work sites.


Job Duties:


  • Communicating with Site Supervisors and other Flagger's to ensure traffic is flowing efficiently and with as mínimal disruption as possible.
  • Following the traffic control plan as written and communicated by the Site Supervisor or Crew Foreman.
  • Interacting with pedestrians and motorists, as needed.
  • Informs drivers of detour routes through construction sites.
  • Working at an outoftown location and under a variety of weather conditions.
  • Other duties, as required.

Qualifications:


  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work as a part of a team.
  • Previous experience as a Flagger considered an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • A safety conscious demeanor and willingness to adhere to company safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to be able to travel out of town.

Job Types:
Full-time, Seasonal


Salary:
$17.70-$18.00 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
