The Coordinator is responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operations of the Stroke/Neuro Rehabilitation Unit (4AN), Community Stroke Rehabilitation Team (CSRT), & Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Program (CORP).
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who enjoys being on the leading edge of innovation and creativity with a view to improving the rehabilitation service delivery system.
Essential Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in a health related, administration or business field
- Current registration with relevant professional college
- 3 years of health care related experience
- Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
- Ability and commitment to act as a supervisor under OHSA
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving along with exceptional facilitation and coaching skills
- Demonstrated superior communication, interpersonal and problemsolving skills
- Demonstrated organizational and computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and promote shared leadership and interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Demonstrated abilities with integrating continuous improvement in service delivery and work processes
- Demonstrated skills in budget and business planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in French would be an asset
- Previous leadership experience
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in research and program evaluation
Teaching and Research
- St Josephs Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. As an employee of St Josephs you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties
Immunization Requirements
- Provide documentation you have received two doses of the Covid19 vaccine (primary series, boosters and/or XBB) OR one dose of XBB vaccine at least 14 days prior to the start date.
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox)
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
