The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Property Manager to work directly on assignment with our client in a hybrid environment for a
6-12-months term.

Our client's offices are in downtown Toronto.

We are looking for an efficient property manager to manage the daily operations of properties to ensure they are in accordance with Ministry and corporate guidelines.

The Property Manager will be responsible for the direct management oversight of assigned properties and projects.

Responsibilities

Manage all facets of the properties that have been assigned to you and keep track of project results.
Arrange routine maintenance and inspections in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
Review process document and addressing any business concerns with project managers
Manage annual budget and schedule of expenses, initiate corrective measures, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
Provide timely, effective service and accessibility while complying with national and local regulations
Manage daily property requirements and plan capital improvements by regularly inspecting properties for damage and inefficiencies
Negotiate with property owners and recommend appropriate compensation settlements
Recommend and implement expropriation proceedings according to applicable legislation and ministry policy
Prepare and / or review detailed property appraisals and reports for various types of land uses
Demonstrate expertise in real estate matters of a technical nature including legal, engineering, appraisal and negotiations
Review and interpret legal descriptions, engineering drawings, surveys, plans and other related documentation.

Requirements and skills

57 proven years of experience as Property Manager
Full understanding of property management and its financial aspects
In depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software
Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills
Excellent skills in negotiation, problemsolving, multitasking, and stress management
Thorough understanding of how to create and maintain budgets
Knowledge of local and national regulations for property management
