Job Summary
The role of the Canadian Programs Coordinator is to increase the efficiency of Ally's operations in Canada. You understand how and when to take initiative and are a self-starter. Along with your organization and management abilities, you are a skilled problem solver. You enjoy building relationships and connecting with new people.


What You'll Do

  • Provide general administrative support to the Canadian programs team
  • Coordination and communication coordinate program activities, including scheduling meetings, workshops and events
  • Project coordination create and maintain project plans and schedules; monitor progress and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope
  • Data management maintain accurate records related to program activities, participants and outcomes
  • Report writing communicate program updates and progress to internal and external stakeholders
  • Training and capacity building help organize and deliver training sessions for volunteers
  • Resolve administrative problems and help increase efficiency of operations
  • Look for ways to improve and/or implement internal systems and processes
  • Understand the Canadian strategic plan, identify gaps and collaborate on solutions
  • Collaboration and teamwork work closely with the Canadian Programs Manager and other team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • Provide staff support and contribute to team culture
  • International and domestic travel 26 weeks/year, dependent on latest priorities
