The Auto Fund Process and Quality Analyst is responsible for evaluating Auto Fund processes or audit programs for performance, quality and/or compliance.

They are responsible for identifying the root cause of business problems and conducting analysis of processes and data in order to document and report on findings and make recommendations for potential solutions or improvements.

The position will assist in developing and participating in change management planning for implementation of standards and procedures.

The position will use process enhancement and quality assurance methodology and best practices as the foundation for recommending a set of key quality indicators and key performance indicators.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Consulting and Execution Identifies areas of process risks and determines mitigation strategies, in collaboration with business areas, manager and other stakeholders.- Collaborates with business areas to identify process opportunities and how to capitalize on them while ensuring alignment with standards and policies.- Drafts plans, ensuring alignment with the business area on the scope, objectives, timing and expected outcomes of a review, assessment or consult.- Adapts tactics to fit the engagement using tools such as process mapping, risk assessments, facilitated discussions, interviews, gap analysis, etc.- Utilizes data analysis tools to identify areas of non-compliance, trends, etc.

and to assist business areas with decision making, monitoring processes, etc.- Ensures new and updated processes or audit programs are aligned with policies and standards.- Performs research on best practices, industry standards, jurisdictional approaches, etc.- Identifies pain points and performs root cause analysis, in collaboration with business area(s).- Drafts reporting with recommendations for improvement on key areas of risk and/or compliance by identifying areas of concern, gaps or missing controls.- Documents and tracks the status of engagements or reviews, including follow-up dates.- Performs follow-up assessments on recommendations.


Implementation Support and Training- Collaborates with business areas and other internal partners on the identification and development of process or audit program changes.- Leads small-scale implementation/improvements and projects, including drafting implementation plans and identifying system, regulatory, legislative and other business impacts, to support business areas in executing the implementation.- Provides project support, including drafting project documents, monitoring project timelines, etc.- Assists with identifying and recommending key performance (KPIs), key quality indicators (KQI) and key risk indicators (KRIs) to evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of the business processes, audit programs, etc.- Evaluates the effectiveness of KPIs, KQIs and KRIs during follow up assessments on prior recommendations.- For simple process changes, develops training material, supporting documentation and provides training to ensure proper handoff to the business area.- For complex process changes, collaborates with the Corporate Auto Fund Training team for the development of training material.- Provides ongoing support to business areas on new or revised processes or audit programs after implementation, as required.


Review and Analysis- Conducts research and analysis that supports the development of strategies and frameworks for process enhancement and quality management.- Reviews corporate, divisional and departmental standards and policies to identify compliance requirements for the Auto Fund division and departments.- Identifies areas that would benefit from a review, such as areas of new risk and/or areas with known concerns, to add to the backlog.- Selects, explores and models data to uncover previously unknown patterns.- Maps and analyzes key processes.- Assists manager with prioritization of process enhancement and quality management items on the backlog and workplan.- Assists manager with creating and maintaining an inventory of Auto Fund processes and audit programs.

Monitors the library items for upcoming reviews or assessments.- Supports internal and external audit inquiries including periodic updates on audit finding
