Alavida Lifestyles is looking for multiple
Full Time Maintenance Assistants for our retirement residence located in
Orleans - Ottawa, ON.

The Maintenance Assistant reports directly to the Concierge Manager, and is responsible for general upkeep and maintenance of the building and grounds in good condition.

Must be available to occasional weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES_

General repairs to buildings, equipment and furnishing
Ensure adherence to the preventative maintenance program for the building, HVAC and fire systems
Maintain grounds and parking areas
Refurbish suites on Resident turn over
Performs other duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS_

Previous experience working in a maintenance role in a retirement committee, apartment/residences, or hospitality setting
Demonstrable previous experience performing minor and routine repairs
Ability to work quickly and efficiently to maintain Resident suites and common areas
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Must have a passion for working with seniors
