About the Role:


We are experiencing rapid growth in our installations division and are looking to add 6-8 Team Leads as we head into a busy fall season The Installation Team Lead is a "hands on" leadership position responsible for both executing installation and merchandising projects, as well as leading the team of Agents working onsite.

This unique position services clients across Canada and may include up to 100% travel and varying work hours including overnights.

Our installation team works with a variety of retail clients to manage change within their stores. Projects range from small one-day, single-fixture installations, to large multi-week big-box layout changes.

Our scope of work can include a variety of tasks including:


  • Demolition and removal of fixtures,
  • Installation of new gondolas
- fixtures or displays,

  • Merchandising
  • Pricing
  • Cleaning, and creating a customerready space


The Installation Team Lead is the primary onsite authority to ensure projects are completed in accordance with the project scope, in alignment with client expectations and in keeping with DedON's standards and core values.


Responsibilities:


  • Accountable for all onsite activities to support the successful completion of retail fixture installation projects, and subsequent merchandising of the space prior to the store opening.
  • Prepare, execute and refine a documented process for completion of the installation projects in accordance with the scope of work and client expectations.
  • Prepare necessary tools and equipment to facilitate the scope of work for the installation team
  • Maintain project schedule and milestones to ensure project completion within assigned timelines and budget
  • Foster a positive work culture and environment for the installation team and fellow onsite clients and contractors
  • Demonstrate strong problemsolving skills to support the team and Client with any onsite challenges or obstacles presented during the project
  • Communicate closely with Manager and/ or Clients as required to provide project updates including areas of risk or concern
  • Facilitate employee safety and ensure all Company policies and procedures are being followed at all times
  • Other tasks and duties as required

Job Requirements:


  • 4+ years of experience in construction/Installation and/or merchandising, preferably in a retail environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset
  • Ability to coach, train, and develop teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel when required, up to 100%
  • Ability to work overnight shifts for extended periods as required
  • Able to perform physical activities, such as but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 50lbs unassisted), bending, standing, crawling, climbing, or walking
  • Experience supporting a strong Health and Safety focus in the workplace
  • Retail industry experience required
