Position Summary:


This is an exciting new opportunity, based in Toronto, to work with a successful and dynamic global FinTech company You will report directly to the Head of Marketing and Communications in Canada, and work closely with other members of the marketing team to execute marketing strategies designed for awareness and growth.

The Marketing Specialist enjoys being hands-on, finding new and more efficient ways to do things, and pitching in as needed.

You are a motivated self-starter, a quick learner, and a strong multi-tasker who can prioritize workload in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.


Responsibilities:

Factoring in our growth trajectory and aggressive plans for continued upward momentum, this opportunity has great potential for a dynamic, service-oriented marketing team player who enjoys going the extra mile to get the job done well.- Content Development- Ability to distil information into succinct, eloquent, and compelling communications Monitor, analyze, and report on success of campaigns (i.e.

CTR, engagement, etc.), making adjustments as needed Social Media Management/Digital Marketing- Work closely with internal design team to share content across various social media platforms Social community management to engage with and grow network Proficiency with LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook Strategic and Tactical Execution- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and outsourced vendors to ensure seamless execution of marketing and communication initiatives (including social media campaigns, client events, outsourced video creation, etc.) Build relationships with key stakeholders including outsourced vendors, partners, and clients Stay current with industry trends and identify new opportunities for growth Event coordination (in-person client events, virtual events and webinars, conference sponsorships, etc.)- Coordinating logistics and technology set-up for in-person and virtual events Greeting clients and serving as ambassador for the company Assist with coordination for sponsorships (i.e.

communications, giveaways, logistics, etc.)

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of marketing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Flair for creativity
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong project management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated multi-tasker
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word and PowerPoint)

Nice to have but not necessary:

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Salesforce, Pardot
  • Experience in financial industry

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid role with expectation to be Inoffice at least 23 days per week (may increase)
  • Occasional afterhour client events
  • Minimal travel required
